I can't say enough good things about Marcus and his team! Admittedly, I procrastinated in writing this, but not because they weren't awesome, just dealing with a ton of personal things. I bought my house a year ago in Rock Hill, SC. At the time, the market was crazy and it seemed every house I put an offer on had numerous other offers. Because of my financial situation, I was not able to make the best offers and lost a few before finding my current home. Marcus and I finally changed my offer strategy and we won the bid. The market was so crazy, I actually had to put the offer in sight unseen. When I was finally able to see the house due to my scheduling constraints, it turns out it was the best house of any I put a bid on anyway! Through the entire process, Marcus was amazing. He was always willing to help and make suggestions. As a single woman who was unfamiliar with some of the areas in the Charlotte area, he was careful to steer me away from bad neighborhoods and sections of town, and I am forever grateful to him for that. Due to my timeline, I was getting pretty discouraged about finding a place before I had to move and he was always encouraging and optimistic. He was professional, very savvy in negotiating, helpful with all the inspections and contractor suggestions on the subsequent work I needed to have done, and at the end of the day, was a bright spot in a stressful situation. He was always quick to respond to texts and phone messages, which in this day and age, is not always easy. I have worked with several real estate agents over the years, and Marcus is hands down the best agent I've ever done business with. He is professional, efficient and trustworthy. It took less than 10 days to get the house ready ( it was a rental) Listed it at proper market price and close it on time. My house was put on the market on 9/24, received multiple offers on 9/27, sold/closed on 10/26. His service does stop after the house is closed. Cause later on, there was hiccup with the buyer’s lawyer firm transaction, I was really helpless, so I gave him a call. He helped me to get the issues straighten out right away, solved the problem.
